Our Story
Our journey began over 29 years ago, when Cobus Beukes founded CST Digital Communication to develop groundbreaking software called XMan2. This software enabled many of the global players in the full body X-ray scanner industry such as Adani (now Linev), Smith Detection and De Beers to name a few, to fulfil the intricate system, process flow and enterprise requirements of mining corporations and correctional services globally. In doing so, we gained deep insights into scanner technology and customer expectations within the high-end security sector. Building on this expertise, we launched Insight Systems with a clear mission: to redefine the way transmission X-ray technology is used. The result was the Juka 600 series range of scanners, now integral to security operations for several of the world’s largest mining houses.
